He concedes three goals or more on 25% of games he plays for the first team. (21 games, 5 times conceding 3 or more). He gets a bit of an easy ride for the goals he lets in too. Of course we know he was horrible on the last day of the season against Southampton - should have saved at least two of them - but he has a lot of examples of just doing things at a lower quality.
Example, go back to the 5-5 against Arsenal.
Goal 1: Weak shot by Saka straight down the middle of the goal, he dives and pushes it straight back to Torreira for a tap in. Commentary calls it a ‘brilliant save’.
Goal 2: Shot going wide, could tip it around the post for security instead pushes it straight back to Martinelli.
Goal 3: Not much he could do there.
Goal 4: Going to be accused of being harsh here but starting position is all wrong. Milner underhits it clearly but he shouldn’t be stood on his goal line. That’s not how we play.
Goal 5: Great strike no complaints.
Ends up saving a pen in the shootout and what I would have down as three basic mistakes are swept away. I’ve consistently seen pretty basic mistakes from him like this. Yes when he plays he is usually playing with our 2nd XI and it may be claimed that’s why he concedes so many goals but he’s also playing against the other teams second XI most of the time and mistakes like pushing it straight back to the CF, or letting it go under your body are not mistakes PL goalkeepers routinely make but he’s made those on multiple occasions in just 21 games.
There’s a thin line between having PL interested for him and buying other players instead. It doesn’t necessarily mean he couldn’t start/play the majority of games in a PL club that would stay up at least. Don’t know what’s up with Forest, but that Henderson deal is not even confirmed yet. Obviously it’s hard to properly judge Kelleher having played a grand total of 30 senior club and international games so far, and he’ll be 25 by the end of this year. Never played more than 8 club games in a season. For now, I’d still say that yes, he could start in the PL. He might attract interest from elsewhere. How far he goes, it’s not easy to tell.
That’s over 60m spent on Nathan Collins so far in his career despite never being an established starter yet - and he’s changed clubs three times in 2 years.
Got bombed out of the Wolves team last season.
Wasn’t a starter at Burnley until April.
Stoke played him at RB.
Hopefully he can get it together but so far he’s been a bust that clubs are betting on turning around (and I think Brentford is a great club for that type of player).
Wonder what wages Lazio/Fener would be offering him to accept those terms….I’d imagine a fair bit less than Palace, if so surprised a Villa or Brighton aren’t in for him.
Allan (our ex Allan!) from Atletico Mineiro to Flamengo for €8.2m.

Mattia Zanotti from Inter to St. Gallen on loan.
Javi Galan from Celta to Atletico for €5m.
Manu Sanchez from Atletico to Celta on a permanent deal.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have rejected a £30 million offer from Napoli for defender Max Kilman. The offer was knocked back yesterday with Wolves wanting at least £34 million for the centre back, whose contract runs until 2026.
Napoli are getting so cocky after taking Ostigard from Brighton’s U21 team and winning the league with him at CB that they think they can just sign anyone and make it work.
