Brighton have identified Ajax’s Calvin Bassey as an alternative to Colwill. Bassey was of interest to Brighton before he joined Ajax from Rangers for £18.7m last summer. Roberto De Zerbi wants a left-sided centre-back and the Nigeria international, who could also cover for Pervis Estupiñán at left-back, is the right profile of player.
I’d take our side any day of the week, but I do think they alongside City will be our big competition this season.
United seem paralysed by this potential takeover and will drop down a bit imo, and Newcastle may struggle a little bit with the league-CL-league cycle for the first time.

I’m just a little bit interested in seeing what happens with Mbappe this summer. I mean its highly likely he’s going to RM, but just for the LOLs I’d love him to stay at PSG, refuse to sign a contract and those cunts lose him for nothing next summer. Though for that to happen, Mbappe would need to be at ease with his family being threatened with physical violence from the PSG ownership…
That’s a good move by Leverkusen, even if the price is steep for them. But they know exactly what they get with Xhaka, and there are good chances that he’ll last at the same level over the length of his contract. His game doesn’t rely on pace and he never gets injured. And he’s still hungry as well. Xabi knows very well what he’s doing here.
