We were very close to sign him on deadline day but Dnipro president refused to sign the papers.
Ayre didn’t make it back in time on his scooter to get the docs signed.
Think it was because of Ayre I actually started paying attention to what memes really were…some great ones to revisit.
Pretty sure that’s a different transfer (probably multiple ones knowing Ayre). In Konoplyanka’s case if I remember correctly we had more or less sorted out a fee before the Dnipro owner stepped in to demand a lot more, basically forcing us to walk away.
