According to The Telegraph, Man City have raised 120 million pounds in the last two years from selling their academy products alone. For all of their corruption and shady dealings, that’s a staggering amount.

It reveals the misguided thinking in exempting academy costs from FFP calculations. That was done to encourage clubs to develop their own players. City have turned it upside down, using it almost as a money laundering operation. They’re basically just moving money from their left pocket to their right pocket
