Summer Transfer Window 2023

Castagne was absolutely awful last season

Georges Mikautadze from Metz to Ajax for €16m.
Christopher Lenz from Eintracht to Leipzig for €1m.
Fares Chaibi from Toulouse to Eintracht for €10m.
Djed Spence from Tottenham to Leeds on loan.

I hope Luton go back in for Cody Drameh. He was one of their best players last season but when they tried to make the move permanent Leeds blocked it and said Drameh was a first team player.

Since then Leeds have been starting the terrible Luke Ayling at RB and have now loaned in the absolutely dreadful Djed Spence. Get out of there Cody, you deserve better and could be playing PL football this season.

I would have bought castagne as well but would the price to us have been the same?

Carlos Baleba another one we should have bought that price is a steal no doubt he is replacing Caicedo

Alexis Saelemaekers from Milan to Bologna on loan, €500k fee.
Khellven from Atletico Paranaense to CSKA Moscow for €4.5m.
Michael Murillo from Anderlecht to Marseille for €2.5m.
Gabriel Vidovic from Bayern to Dinamo Zagreb on loan.

Wolves potentially getting Tommy Doyle for £5m in the Nunes deal is pretty smart business for one of the best players in the Championship last season.

Lots of reports that Palmer is on his way out as well now with the signings of Doku and Nunes.

Probably the right time for him to move, not much point in him sitting behind Haaland and multiple others when he’s ready to start games.

Chelsea would be a terrible move for him though.

I dont think he’s a player really affected by Haaland’s undropablness. I thought he was more in the category of player who might get more chances with the De Bruyne injury, but not now after spending 100 million on two players who will help fill that void, one of whom is younger than he is.

Fabrizio seems to think a deal is done with Chelsea, £40m + £5m add ons. Yikes.

Victor Kristiansen from Leicester to Bologna on loan, €1m fee.
Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea to Roma on loan, €5.8m fee.
Mama Balde from Troyes to Lyon on loan, €2m fee.
Ivan Fresneda from Real Valladolid to Sporting Lisbon for €9m.
Folarin Balogun from Arsenal to Monaco for €30m.
Andrea Petagna from Monza to Cagliari on loan.
Jean-Kevin Duverne from Brest to Nantes on a free.
Mergim Berisha from Augsburg to Hoffenheim for €14m.
Luis Palma from Aris to Celtic for €4m.
Ernest Nuamah from Nordsjaelland to Molenbeek for €25m.
Benjamin Pavard from Bayern to Inter for €30m.

He’ll be a good back up option for when Mitoma is tired.

Wow. :hushed:

Relevant to this is two new kids have started to break through this summer. Fermin Lopez was a prospect they’ve long had hopes for but expected to send on loan again this year but his performances in pre-season seem to have made them want to keep him with the first team. But it’s really 16 year old Yamal who has bypassed Fati. He has now started 2 of their last 3 games.

Since his last injury Fati hasnt really hit the heights he was previously and so you can see for a club who needs to raise money it being a revenue generating gamble they might reasonably want to roll the dice on.

Brighton now have Ferguson, Adingra, Fati, Enciso and Buonanotte as U21 forward in their first team set up - as well as Jeremy Sarmiento and Andy Moran on loan in the Championship.

He’s had two very bad injuries. Hope his game time is managed well as he’s a cracking talent. Remains to be seen whether those injuries have affected him.
