I think his last post to ISMF1 stated he was out of here - for why, I do not know or what went on to cause it

Kopstar left because he wanted the mods to be more active/firmer. He perceived it as inaction.
We do take a softer approach to moderation, preferring a quite word (or deleting posts before it gets too heated) rather than dishing out yellow and red cards. The good thing is the community is pretty healthy and we typically don’t need to. Kopstar disagreed.
I deleted an exchange that didn’t involve him, and he got offended on behalf of someone else. He mistakenly thought someone he had a personal dislike of was the offender (when it was in fact another poster).
To be fair to Kopstar our approach is not always best which he personally ended up on the wrong side. In the other forum he was targeted by a very sick individual. What the mods thought was just a personal dislike (tit for tat) turned out to be much more disturbing.
I like Kopstar, personally got a lot of time for him. Few years back he gave me some excellent advice when I was going through a complicated redundancy. He cares a lot about the community.
I am guessing he is taking a break for now but hope he comes back.

And that’s his problem; he’s not half as clever as he thinks he is.
As I’ve said before, I think he’s an excellent poster and contributor to the forums. As a person, I have no time for him whatsoever.

He is on my ignore list for years now, for obvious reasons.

I followed that exchange and he jumped into something that was really none of his business. I found him to be overbearing , condescending , paranoid and petulant. He won’t be missed by me.

Incredibly harsh judgements on a valued forum member.
Kopstar recently lost his father(as have I) and it`s a difficult period for him.
He has also told us he is on the spectrum for autism(I have a great nephew who is autistic and I have a very small idea how difficult that can be)
Be Kind only applies to some sadly.

Kopstar gave as good as he got and he got a lot.
Yeah, nah. I think he is very similar to me in RL. If he feels someone is being silly then let them know about it. I didn’t find him condescending or arrogant at all and for some reason, people saw him as a target from way before we came into here and the dislike never stopped and continued to rankle, unfortunately.
I didn’t know he was gone, I thought he had taken time out because of his dad. The place is poorer without him.

Fair and accurate judgements based on my interactions with him.
He also accused Mascot of making reference to it in a disagreement they had. Which he never did.
It certainly never did to him.

My interactions with him were generally positive.
I find some people on here incredibly condescending and obnoxious but don’t feel the need to make a thing of it, it’s probably one of the reasons I rarely post in the politics threads as they seem to bring out the worst in people.

I thought he was ok.
Possibly offended some people, but let’s face it, these days some people thrive on finding reasons to be offended.
I’m steering clear of threads like politics, isms, Convid etc. History on TIA has shown they often get hijacked by an individual whose opinion is fact and anyone who doesn’t share it is obviously wrong.

I never had an issue with Kopstar, but if posters had a different experience then that is yours and I respect that.
I have had a couple of spats with posters here, but there is no point in worrying about it. Because people disagree, it doesn’t mean a lot on a forum.
Some people are dickheads at times, but thats life. We all have our moments

It’s sad statement of how toxic this forum has become that people are openly posting negative and sly things about a fellow Liverpool fan.
No one is perfect, but we all love the club, that gets forgot far too much on here.
