Spambot gets most likes on Liverpool fan forum!
The world of football fan forums (fora?) was thrown into turmoil on Sunday when it was revealed that a spambot known as “cynicaloldgit” had received the most likes on The Anfield Nose website from his unsuspecting fellow forumites. The police are making enquiries and Russian meddling has not been ruled out.

Feels like I missed all the fun…
It doesn’t look like it was posting in existing discussions, so you could see the start of the spam message on the main page and not need to go into a thread to find it. If it had been placed in an existing thread, unless you were up to date with the posts it might have been a while before someone found it.
