Oh, you don’t know the half of it. She appears to have gone into heat - so I suppose she is now a cat rather than a kitten. So far she has been crawling around the floor like a love-sick teenager, which is rather cute really.
This does mean that we have had to leave the cat-flap locked, or at least we put it on incoming-only mode because our much older neutered male cat still wants to go out and commit atrocities in the garden.
The only problem with this logic is that another cat in the area decided to pop in through the cat-flap and our older cat defenestrated him… So unfortunately we now need a new cat-flap.
