I’m still saying they’re humans.
It’s not impossible and it will be done some day. We came 2 games short, battling a cheating club all season. It’s not a huge leap of faith to think that if we had secured the league sooner, we would have been better prepared for the final as well.
The margins were very thin.

If the results of just 4 games were flipped, Klopp would have had 3 CLs and 3 PLs. It’s crazy to think about.

My opinion of them changed after the 5-5 in the Caraboa Cup or whatever it was called a few years back.
They celebrated goals like they’d just won the fucking CL instead of scoring against our reserves and their dickhead players didn’t help by nearly jumping into the Anny Rd end after a couple of them.
And they still lost on pens! Proper Arsenal.
I’ve disliked them intensely since that night, they were always ok but are just a shower of small-time dickheads now.

Personally wouldn’t have mind Arsenal winning the CL as a club given the things mentioned above. Atleast they are not state backed, complete cheats like Chelsea Madrid or City or have the sense of entitlement the likes of Utd do.
But Arteta being the first manager to get it done for them just doesn’t feel right. Not sure what the reason is, personal grudges that he’ll have same no of CL titles as Klopp had with us or the way they dive and cheat with somehow winning by set pieces and not having to go through the cycle of winning by margins, going through semis or finals before actually winning it. They have grown over the years I give them that.
And the fact that it takes one title to them having to start believing they can win the league. Maybe I am scared that they are doing things the right way and will become another competitor for us if they get one title. Just don’t want that. I love us being the only club at the top lol.

Another prem side winning the CL will take some gloss off our title, so even without consideration of my dislike of this arsenal side I’d really prefer that not happen. But there is also that stated dislike…they are snidey, entitled, and no longer even entertaining to watch. The idea of PSG winning it the year after Mbappe finally fucks off is amusing enough to me to significantly mitigate the sports washing aspect of it.
In terms of preferences, for me it is Inter >PSG>>>Barca/Arse

Definitely a horrible bunch especially the younger ones, I am mates with a couple of older ones and they are embarrassed by the actions of the younger especially singing songs about players and manager that have won fuckall and painting murals of players that won nothing either.
