The Arsenal Thread

Im not fussed with this the title has been won over the season anyway. You would prefer the trophy presentation to be at home.

Trophy presentation will be at home regardless as our last game is at home.

But it doesn’t always fall that way.

Could it be…

Still 18 wins in the league same as city.

It wouldnt be a terrible bet at this point to back City to finish ahead of them - 6 points back with 4 to go means if city win their remaining matches there is a chance

Yeah it doesn’t but it will this season as even if it went to the last game it would be a home game.

If we win it earlier they may do it at Arsenal. Can’t see them doing after Spurs. I don’t think any other team have had it like that.

They won’t pick an away game when we have a home game to give us the title.

We were 1/1000 to win the title before tonight, we are 1/500 now

Im not meaning this season just the point it cant always be done at home.

Oh I know .

I expect it will still be Palace anyhow, so that and then do the tour on a bank holiday.

Arsenal doing the treble.

2nd time they achieved this feet 98-99,99-00, 00-01 so they are special.

Never impressed me, he is a bit of a highlight reel. Much better than the likes of Prickford but he isn’t amazing. I’d put him behind Kelleher.

The league has been over for a long time. If Arsenal had any chance of winning the title they would have beat Palace no problem. It’s a bit like some of our recent performances - which have still mostly been wins, to be fair. It hasn’t been our best but I feel that is mostly because it hasn’t needed to be. It’s hard to just turn it on when it’s all over bar the shouting.

Arsenal will show their best against PSG because their whole season is hanging on it. And after showing their best, my prediction is they will still get knocked out by a superior PSG side. They will be fuming, and salty, and gutted. Good.

As for us, it’s nice that we can win it at home against Spurs. We’ve even got margin for the day as we only need a draw, but I expect a decent performance, a win, and a lovely party. And well deserved it will be, too.
