Lets not get too smug guys. PSG got the same 1-0 result against us, Arsenal may yet be able to reproduce what we did in Paris and not fuck it up on Pens. I’m saving my guffaws until they are dumped out

“They’ve been the better team, had the better attributes, had their squad available consistently and we are going to try again.

He was almost gracious! Congratulations… we had more injuries. That’s how it comes across. Well boo-hoo. We had injuries too. And we also trained our players better.

I wonder what would happen if Raya missed 10 games, if they had to go into their 4th choice right-back, if their third-choice goalkeeper was getting games.

They would be outside the CL places

If they get dumped out of the CL, their form could drop off a cliff in the following few games… Might even struggle to make top four if this happens

Genuine chance they could finish third in a two horse race having never really been in that two horse race.

Currently closer to Bournemouth in 8th than us in first.

It’s been a record breaking season for them.

I’'ll be rooting for them to win so that they can seal that hattrick of nearly man.

How spursy. Maybe they should change their name to Arsenal Chokespurs

Funniest thing about this is that arsenal started crumbling after Arteta said “over my dead body” 3 wins in the next 10 PL games. So it’s rather fair to say that they bottled the league.

There was a comment on Twitter who gets paid more by Arsenal Arteta and deflection agent Don Robbie.

You can only bottle something if you had your hands on it and it slips from your grasp.

Arsenal did not bottle the league, as they were never in control of it: we were.

Arsenal have never sat top of the league this season not even for half a day.

I wasn’t aware of that. I read that we went top on 2nd November and didn’t relinquish the lead after that, but I didn’t realise that Gunners weren’t even top in the early exchanges.

Makes any talk of them “bottling” it even more risible.
