Our quadruple chasing team should have some new respect after this.
We never faced teams having an off season. The challenge of winning the league hurt us in the UCL (which wasn’t helped by Tboat having a beauty of a game.
We still won the 2 domestic cups.
Let’s compare it to Arsenal’s current campaign. They should have had the league done and dusted by now considering how much of a nose dive Liverpool and to a lesser extent City has taken this year.
Slacked off their domestic cups in an effort to set piece their way to the league and find themselves in a position where the league quite probably isn’t in their hands anymore.
CL would always be a lottery even if arsenal do make it for the final.

Ideally would like them to have 2 grueling legs and then get their feet taken from under them in the league.
Doesn’t really matter if they reach the finals or not. They are mentally weak enough to shatter.
Best solution. City can win the league title this year and keep it.
They however get done in for the years that are under investigation and get those titles stripped and relegation etc.
Arses won’t even get their title , city get their punishment (even if it means they hold this title)

We can slag off Arsenal, and the shit anti-football they play, but they’re having a season we could only have hoped for. Champions League final, having led the Premiership most of the season (something even we could not do last year). As for their supposed awful play? What have we been then?

You’re right Arsenal are having a great season. They’ve had a nice easy run to the Champions League final and they’re on course to win the league with a relatively low points total. Everything has pretty much fallen for them this year but all you can do is ride it. They’ll probably win the league now but can’t see them beating PSG.

I’m speaking as a really bitter Liverpool fan with a grudge against everything - this Arsenal season is the inversion of Liverpool’s 2021/22 season.
We had a fantastic persona of a manager, played fantastic football for most of the time, won two domestic cups and narrowly missed out on PL and CL trophies. They have a bland persona of a manager, play shit football for most of the time, lost both domestic cups but they will narrowly win both PL and CL trophies.

I’ll be in the minority here, but I don’t want Qatar FC to put their dirty hands on the trophy again. If Arsenal has to win it, then so be it. Same for the league btw. If they can hold off Cheaty FC, then all the better.
