So, in the latest reporting released today (up to 21 March) there have now been a further 20 reports of CVST following AstraZeneca (now totalling 24). These now also include 4 deaths recorded since the previous week. These are the first deaths in the UK reported from CVST in those who have taken AstraZeneca.
There were no further reports of CVST reactions from Pfizer so the total remains at 2 (no deaths).
That is an alarming jump in the space of a week. Different methods of reporting/classifying? Notoriety bias?
In total there have now been 283 reported deaths following Pfizer vaccinations (10.8million) and 421 reported deaths following AstraZeneca vaccinations (15.8million).
1 death for every 38,163 following Pfizer and 1 death for every 37,530 following AstraZeneca.
UK reports 25 fresh cases of blood clots linked to AstraZeneca vaccine.
The UK has received 30 reports of the rare blood clotting events that have been linked to the Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine in recent weeks and have caused precautionary restrictions to be placed on its use in many European countries.
On Thursday evening, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency released information about 25 new cases of severe and very rare blood clotting events, on top of five it had reported earlier this month.
The MHRA also clarified that it had not seen any of the same reactions in individuals that had received the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine.

If these cases now occur more often in various different countries but not in the UK that would be a bit dubious tbf. You could of course interpret it in a purely hypothetical way that they might not really want to look for it or that it might be a bit concealed for image reasons. The German health expert Lauterbach (SPD) answered a journalist’s question about why the data in the UK were so different from ours in a very diplomatic way imo, he said that the examinations are probably a bit more “coarse-grained” than ours and that they may simply have been recorded as a stroke.
What’s come out of the UK has been politically motivated. They shouted before doing the checks (even though the call for checks had obviously gone out) they hadn’t been paying attention (and knew it) once the signals came out from other countries they surely started to check yet the politicians decided they couldn’t wait.
This is like the the EU president shouting before taking in the ‘facts’ absolute baffoonery!
This pandemic has since a long time been taken over by politics (I said that ages ago) science, legal considerations … everything else has been thrown out the window. It’s a real horror show, just look at France fucking baffoons!

AstraZeneca has been flagged in 421 deaths (21 per million)
Phizer has been flagged in 283 deaths (26 per million)
This is from the 31,147,444 people vaccinated. There is really no statistical difference in the fatality number in the UK numbers between the two vaccines.
Even if every death was caused by the vaccine (its not), the benefits of give either AZ or Phizer vaccine outweigh the risks of COVID.

I heard something that a low platelet count is related to the greater risk of clotting. Did I hear that correctly?
I think understanding more of science might be useful on this.
There’s some worrying differences just from a quick glance.
Differences I highlighted a few weeks ago. 
Like how I’d rather choke it from a heart attack (AstraZeneca) than from shitting myself to death (Pfizer).
Perhaps I mentionned that, there’s a problem in what that was referring to either clotting or the arythmy cardiac problems. Need more info.
However I have low platlet count yet my clotting response is ‘normal’.
If it is related to platelets it could be that people with low platlet counts are more prone to internal damage for some reason or other causing a greater risk to internal bleedsing hence clotting. Clotting is a factor of intenal damage this is why this bugger of a virus is also connected to clotting issues, it causes massive internal damage.
The main hypothesis that is circulating is
- Vaccine triggers immune response.
- In some people an autoimmune response is also triggered (body attacking self)
- This autoimmune response attacks platelets (causing low platelet count) and causes clotting.
But no one really knows.
Also difficult to envisage such a mechanism being unique to AZ vaccine.
Though the data you posted earlier indicates there’s not this happening with Pfizer!
