More interesting is that despite falling death rates and relatively effective vaccines out there, the US and Russia are really pretty shit.

Should take it just as seriously as vaccinating older citizens. Regardless of reduced population risk, there is a meaningful cohort of at risk children and the best way to protect them (and others across the community) is for everyone to be vaccinated so that break through infections involve lower viral loads and reduce risks for the vulnerable (and the unlucky). It’s very sad how society seems to have lost this core understanding of the purpose of vaccination where the common good trumped individual vaccination ‘choice’.

SO the UK government has decided without any consultation with the Covid virus that the pandemic is over.
- No more self isolating
- No more free testing
- No more support payments
- Questions about virus monitoring
- No plan in the event of a new variant.

The Ukraine invasion is emotionally draining. So I figured I would lighten the mood by highlighting what’s happening in NZ.
Over here mimicking what’s happening in Canada we have anti vaxx campaigners. They have been camped outside parliament for a week or two.
The police have been very gentle, irrespective there has been some clashes. In one incident poop was thrown at police. This got a lot of negative press. The protesters claimed it was a false flag event. Plain clothes cops, infiltrating, and throwing 
to create negative headlines 
But it gets better, somewhat ironically (and predictably) Covid is now spreading like wildfire through the antivaxxers camp. Except they don’t believe it’s Covid ! They believe the government has been using EMF waves to make them sick.
So now the antivaxxers are literally wearing tin foil hats
