I still look at their side and think they might be a batsman short with Jansen at 7, but they must fancy themselves big time now. Don’t think any team in the other group will beat them in the Semis.
I think every other team lacks even more though

a tad sloppy in the field today. Surprisingly Bethel is the main culprit. Almost like his mind is elsewhere
Another two misfields, A catch went out of Brook’s hand and for 4. Then a misfield caused extra runs to be run.

Yeah they’ve been below par in that regard, on paper it’s one of the better fielding teams in the tournament but they haven’t shown that today.
Dawson impressive again, he’s had a solid tournament.

165 target, they should be able to knock those off but this is England so we’ll see
165 to make the semis. Probably would have taken that when they lost the toss, Pakistan have some good spin options so will still be challenging. Could do with the opening partnership finally clicking again.

Anyway, England will get demolished by anyone else who makes the other semi. They’re basically batting at least with two wickets down.
