Peter’s last wish was to visit an Ajax match. The match in question got abandoned yesterday after 5 minutes due to heavy fireworks from the stands. The match will be played tomorrow without fans, but with Peter - who’ll be the only fan in attendance

“But when the volunteers arrived at the hospice this afternoon to fulfill Peter’s last wish, it turned out that his condition has deteriorated in such a way that his last wish will never be fulfilled again,” the WensAmbulance Noord-Holland Foundation said on Facebook.
“He really lived to this day tremendously, so it’s just very, very sad that this is being destroyed by the fireworks,” a foundation volunteer told AT5 on Monday. A spokesperson for Stichting WensAmbulance did not want to discuss questions from NU.nl in terms of content.

Theres a reason why Ajax, and their shit for brains fans, are reviled across most all of the Netherlands. Unfortunately, my boys were not up for the battle today. Regroup, and go again. Still looks to be one of the best seasons for Groningen in the Eredivisie. Trots van het Noorden! Pride of the North!
