Just watching ‘Kingsman’ Taron Egerton=Bond??? . Or a female bond= Jodi Comer…a scouser!!
None of the above for me, but that’s just because I don’t like either of them anyway, not based on their suitability to play Bond.
Loved Dench as M. Please go back to something like that. A grandmotherly M with secretive hots for Beefcake Bond.
Mighten’t they make the decision of the next Bond based on how many butts that actor might put into theater seats? Don’t think they’re too woke worried at Eon Productions. More worried, perhaps, that they have to follow the best Bond ever in an era when the very character is more and more anachronistic.
Does anyone else find it weird that Die Another Day is the fifth highest grossing Bond film ever and even the sixth when accounting for inflation?
Watched Dune. Thought it was great, but slightly disappointed as I didn’t know it was only part 1! Visually appealing Sci fi, right up my alley.
I’ve always thought of it that there isn’t really anyone called James Bond and it’s a pseudonym that comes with having the 007 codename.
Otherwise you’ve got to watch the Bond movies an believe the same person has been Britain’s top active field spy/assassin for ~50 years.
Decided to watch Nobody last night.
Enjoyed it as I was in the mood for something simple. A couple of little chuckles in it too.
Daniel Craig, Taron Egerton and Jodie Comer all born on Merseyside. Bond, Eggsy and Villanelle.
How about a tall, athletic, suave, young man, also a scouser…TRENT!! (Only joking)
Chester (where Craig was born) is Cheshire. But at least he’s a Liverpool fan, unlike the other two!
Thought Comer was…or is she a verton.
She’s a blue.
Oh dear…thats a nil point.
Nil? I’d probably still give her one.
And she’s officially dead to me
Oops, my bad. I had it in my head that he was born on The Wirral. Mind you, Cester’s only a hop, skip and jump away.
Born in Chester, moved to the Wirral when his parents divorced, went to primary school in both Frodsham and one in Hoylake. He did go to high school and then six form in West Kirby.
Decided to watch Mississippi Burning again last night. Still as good as it always was, hasn’t really aged as such.
one thing that was quite disturbing is in the middle of the film there’s a clip from a KKK meeting. The language is pretty much the same that’s been used in the UK over the last 10 years.
We haven’t progressed at all.
