Except that he has confirmed that he will leave at the end of the season. The issue I have with Xavi is that he has spent his entire footballing life at Barca, so how would he handle adapting to a new club, let alone a new country, league or having to learn a new language.

Anyway your concern is valid. If it wasn’t for the reverence we give to Barcelona, even when they’re in a bad place, I’m not sure Xavi would be on anyone’s radar.

I can literally count on one hand the poor decisions the LFC has made since JK walked through the door, and in the absence of evidence to the contrary, I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Honestly, I’m a bit disappointed with how this all turned out, but realistically speaking, with the structure we now have with Edwards, it was unfortunately foreseeable that we were only looking for a head coach and not a manager.
We’ll probably see what that means in the summer when we sell the first players, make new signings and extend or not extend contracts. Who knows whether we’ll still be an attractive club for new players? I’m a bit depressed right now.
