ISIS has now claimed responsibility for both of the bombings in Iran. Analysts are suggesting the motivation is not dissimilar than that of Hamas - their activity and relevance was in decline, this has brought them a great deal of attention.

Hezbollah initiating shelling along that border was I suspect meant initially as something of a protest. But in the current conditions, I don’t think the Israeli government wants to avoid war with Hezbollah.

In a rather twisted way I was rather happy that it was ISIS.

Sadly, that’s true. Netanyahu wants to stretch the US indulgence as far as possible.

📍#Gaza 1.4 million people are sheltered in @UNRWA facilities, with hundreds of thousands more in the vicinity

Devastatingly, at least 319 people sheltering in @UNRWA shelters have been killed & 1,135 injured in direct hits or collateral damage of @UNRWA premises since war began pic.twitter.com/0lZVX48WVN

To be honest I have not followed the Jeffery Epstein scandal beyond knowing a little bit about the royal family. It appeared to be a rabbit hole were something evil happened and lots of crazy conspiracy theories attached themselves to it.

However the released documents, it’s my understanding, the butler accuses Dershowitz (the lawyer) of engaging himself in underage sex. Jane Doe 3 has also made accusations.

Dershowitz strongly denies the accusations. The significance is Dershowitz was/is about to represent Israel against genocide charges. He has also written a pro Israel/zionism book.

The optics and implications are not good for Israel. Doubt they can continue with him as a representative. News interview (day before documents released) asked Dershowitz if the island was used for Israel blackmail/honey trap. Which is starting to go down the rabbit hole… but even the insinuations are not good. Especially with lawyer implicated in crimes.

Of all the people listed, he seems to come out of it very badly.

Hahahaha Hahahaha Hahahaha Hahahaha Hahahaha Hahahaha Hahahaha Hahahaha

If only they cared about optics and implications then they reconsider engaging in the genocide of Palestinians. In future if Jews speak of ‘our holocaust’ the response will be ‘which one?’

Two more journalists have been killed in Gaza today. Don’t know what’s the total count right now but the last count, a few weeks ago, was over 60 journalists killed in Gaza and southern Lebanon. No way these are accidental or collateral killings.

No, I think @ISMF is right and Dershowitz is very likely to withdraw. Perverse as it may be, they are more concerned with the optics of the Epstein scandal than the perception of the conduct in Gaza.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog said on Meet The Press yesterday that the expulsion of Palestinians is not the government’s official policy, even though some members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government have called for exactly that ; “I’m saying outright, officially and unequivocally, this is not the Israeli position.”

It’s worth remembering that the role of President in Israel is largely ceremonial and he has no power to effect what does or does not happen in Gaza.

These people on the other hand do ;

A few more countries have been named in recent news/analysis (France 24, Al Jazeera, Middle East Eye). They array is as weird as it’s terrifying. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Chad, Libya has also been named as possible destinations. Israel is reportedly trying to convince the Gulf Kingdoms/Sheikdoms to fund the resettlement. Additionally, Israel is trying to convince these Kingdoms/Sheikdoms to take the Palestinians instead of the workers from South and South East Asia.

On a different note, I really hate Jordana Miller, freelancing for France 24 from Jerusalem. She continues to pipe the Israel/IDF don’t target press of aid workers. How the fuck then nearly 200 journalists and aid workers have been killed?

The final solution then.

I did expect these kind of ideas would prop up sooner rather than later. They were always being discussed within Israel. Just a matter of time before they start permeating to the mainstream media.

Expect Israel to bribe countries with money and any other developmental assistance now.

Countries like Egypt or other African countries (Congo which was mentioned) , when you’ve got lunatics like Cruella Braverman espousing this as a UK policy w.r.t asylum seekers , other lunatics are bound to come out of a closet.

Israel doesn’t consider them journalists and aid workers. For them , they are all Hamas.

Some journalists and aid workers might well have links to Hamas (which is understandable again) but Israel finds it convenient to paint everyone with the same brush.

It’s one thing to bribe / pressure / blackmail countries into accepting refugees , it’s entirely another to convince Gazans to leave voluntarily … which of course is where the scorched earth and starvation tactics come in.

Agreed. It’s just that lunacy by other countries enables the other retards more

A senior Hezbollah leader has been killed in an air-strike. :see_no_evil:

I’m not talking about Israel/IDF. I’m talking about journalists like Jordana Miller who uses the sanctity of their profession to push (or hide) the Israel/IDF agenda.

There are always media entities who are going to be touting particular agenda. Surely isn’t a unique phenomenon. Look at Al-Jazeera as an entire organization.
