It is important to understand the role that denying the Palestinians as distinct occupies in thinking by the likes of Smotrich. Smotrich doesnât need to explain where the Palestinians will go when they are compelled to leave, because there is no such thing as a Palestinian. He has said repeatedly that the idea of a Palestinian is an invention of the last century. For him, they are Arabs, and they will go to live in lands where Arabs live. Where precisely that is, is not his problem, not his responsibility to explain.

Racism against Arabs in Israel exists in institutional policies, personal attitudes, the media, education, immigration rights, housing etc., and has done since 1948.
Itâs actually hard to fully describe in words but you feel it from the minute you enter the country. Then entering the West Bank itâs even more visceral. The daily life of the people there

You say that it exists in all that, but the thing is, you would probably also argue that the landscape in the UK is similarly biased against the left, but yet support for left-wing policies is rather high.
Isnât it a little bit of dissonance to argue that itâs perfectly possible for left-wing policies to have a majority support despite the institutional biases against it, but that anti-Arab racism is the vast majority because of the institutional biases for it?
They might have the loudest voices, but i doesnât mean that there isnât a substantial minority who disagree.

The end game for them imo is to build a big wall of hate, distrust and total inability to try living together. The fascists around Netanyahou need this to consolidate their power.
Surely some of them are also playing with the idea of total obliteration of Palestinian presence in Gaza and the West Bank.

This is the most perplexing thing though. Even if all the Palestinians in Gaza , and those without citizenship in the West Bank , were forcible removed , that still leaves 2,000,000 Arab Israeli citizens. What the fuck lies in store for them ?
If you follow the ill logic of these people, the conclusion would be that after having removed the Palestinians of Gaza and the West Bank, theyâd start removing these ones too, obviously. This kind of people never stops and always finds new targets for their hate.
Of course, it doesnât need to come to that. A firm No coming from the US would be enough to immediately stop all of this. It didnât come with Biden, and probably wonât come with Trump. But who knows after allâŚ

Iâd still say that no matter how pathetic the state of the Arab Israelis is , itâs still preferable to being in Gaza. I can even say itâs not much different from non -citizens in the rich Emirati states.
Thereâs no guarantee that the Palestinians at this point of time can form a viable nation. Both Israel and the Palestinian leadership have ensured that it canât come to pass.
Atleast the Arab Israelis have the chance to get themselves and their children educated , live without the (relative) fear of getting bombed by Israel etc etc.
That to me , as of the current status quo , seems far more preferable to the alternate.
And whatâs to say that the Shariah loving bastards that are the Hamas and the ilk wonât just do a Taliban and further regress their society.
