The Middle East Thread

Because everything is the big bad USA?

And where’s their benefit in this case? More instability, to what end?

Ofcourse the US doesn’t have a prior history of funding radical Islamist terrorists especially when it meant those outfits can be used against Russia or the Soviets.

Remember how US funded al qaida before.

And oh wow., Turkey a member of the NATO making moves.

Oh comeon.

And oh yeah , call me a conspiracy theorist. But every action that US has taken in that region has only led to more chaos.

Again, how does it benefit the USA in this case? You’re dodging the question.

Yes, Turkey, that famous lackey of the USA that totally didn’t try to block the entry of Finland and Sweden into NATO.

I’m glad you recognise that.

It’s still a member of the NATO.

It’s still not as big a conspiracy theory as what bush and Blair did ? Where are the nuke weapons in Iraq?

And there are enough instances of US and their proxies(the Saudis etc) formenting radical Islamist groups. Are you even denying that ?

Not the point though is it? You’re trying to argue that it’s the USA that’s behind all of this, implying that Turkey’s involvement is somehow evidence of that.

I have provided examples of where Turkey has acted in opposition to the interests of other NATO members.

Was that really a conspiracy theory? I think there were plenty of contemporary voices suggesting that the "evidence’ as overblown, whereas you’re literally the only person I’ve seen to suggest that it’s the big bad USA behind all of this.

Yeah no I’m done. If you think the Saudis are the lapdogs of the USA and not powerful players in their own right there’s no talking to you.

History bears otherwise.

And I note that you won’t even hear about how US instigated islamic terrorist outfits.

Are you aware of that ? Or do you plainly choose to ignore that ?

And I’m pretty much done on discussion of these topics as well. Not least when there are people who plainly refuse to accept what their country has done.

I’m not even American?

Your blind hatred for the country seems to be making you ignore basic facts. Where does the USA benefit in this?

You’re essentially like an antisemite, pretending that there’s some massive Jewish conspiracy to control the world, except substituting the Americans for the Jews.

“instigated” isn’t the right word, but in any case, the benefit was clear. You’re ignoring that there’s no benefit here.

Yeah the USA totally wants the Yemen Civil War.

Logic and facts does not matter. He doesn’t read to learn anyway. There is an extreme unwillingness to do so. There is no point. Conspiracy theories based on feelings are more comfortable for some than learning. Its irrelevant that this offensive was planned since before October and that everything he says contains extreme logical fallacies.
Just don’t bother and he might stop trolling when he gets bored.

Russia has promised supplies within 72 hours for a counter offensive.

Hopefully that’s good news for Ukraine.

It’s just what Russia says. Time will tell.

I’m not good at explaining.

I feel by activating these militants the Iran axis will be tied down but no one can be blamed for escalation.
