Interesting evolution with Tadic. From like a poor man’s Ozil single #10 at Southampton, who were not even too bothered when they sold him, to a false #9 goalscorer and goalcreator at Ajax and now I think playing on the left in a 4-2-3-1.
Ziyech could learn a thing or two from him, but probably doesn’t have the mentality for it.
There was a point when I thought that Tadić’s career was going to waste. He’s Serbia’s most talented player since Piksi, although Matić runs him close. One thing I respected about them is that they refused to take the easy route, something that many players in Balkan do.
Ajax built the team around his creativity, gave him freedom and confidence and I’m glad he repaid them. It’s nice to see that you can make it without playing for the big two in Serbia or without having a big name agent to push you.
Yeah, his career really made a big turn to a nice story in last years, I’m glad to see him doing well.

Turkish League is weird this season. The traditional heavyweights Fenerbahçe, Besiktas, and Galatasaray are nowhere near the top.

Think that’s it, they look superb in Europe but they look more likely to slip in the league and were lucky a week or so back. They will slip again and Celtic don’t have much else to play for.
