Looks like a soap opera opener for Benfica.
Di MarĆa puts them ahead on his return debut. Musa is sent off early in the second half. BoženĆk equalizes shortly after. Rafa Silva makes it 2-1 for Benfica in the 77th. LourenƧo scores a pen in the 90th to make it 2-2, only to get sent off himself 8 minutes later, and BoženĆk then gets the winner in the 103rd.

That is a really ill-spirited derby. Something like this happens all the time, though more often to fans than players.

That is the sort of thing that needs a draconian response. Relegation down the pyramid to their League 3 (4th tier), not just to a level they might have earned on the pitch.

Was just reading an article on this when I came across the fact that Shelvey was on the pitch at the time. He is on loan at Rizesport from Forest. Sounds like he burned his bridges with Cooper at Forest.
