Let’s break down what happened in the Turkish Super Cup final:
- In protest of the Turkish FA’s response to a recent brawl with Trabzonspor fans after a win, Fenerbahce send their reserve team to play against their biggest rival Galatasaray.
- One minute into the match, Mauro Icardi scores for Galatasaray.️
- The Fenerbahce reserves then proceed to walk off the pitch in boycott.
- Galatasaray are Turkish Super Cup champions.
- Galatasaray proceed to play a match amongst themselves to ensure the fans that bought tickets will be able to see a football match.
Turkey really is a mad place.
Guess all that’s left to say is congrats to Gala on a well deserved cup win.
Any team that dumps Utd out of Europe altogether gets that at least. 
Last day of the Danish Superliga today. Brøndby and Midtjylland started the day level on points with a seven goal swing in Brøndby’s favour. Brøndby currently leading 1-0 vs AGF, Midtjylland trailing 1-0 to Silkeborg.

His career has detoured down into what in basketball is called the ‘smoking leagues’. You know the glory days are long gone when you are putting in the day’s work for a paycheque for a club that may or may not end up paying you.
I’d assume he’s putting in place measures to avoid those. Maybe ensuring minimum payment upfront etc.
