Sure i saw an advert for AWS banging on about how F1 uses it but also bayern uses it for data too.

I think what they talk about is how AWS provides the backbone for the telemetry and other data crunching that F1 teams need to do to do all their systems monitoring, performance monitoring etc. F1 team need A LOT of heavy cloud based data processing services to monitor, recearch, innovate, maintain, and run their teams. Literally to run their cars.
We donāt need anywhere near that level of computing capabilities for football.

We might need an AWS bucket to hold our list of right wing targets that havenāt been signed at this rate - itās certainly verging on Big Data

Since the times of g+h, Iāve always nurtured a strong scepticism when it comes to that kind of āIm a fan firstā soundbites.
Contrarily to g+h and their absurd soundbites and promises, Henry said one and only thing when he bought LFC: judge us on our actions, and not on our words. Thatās what Iāve done with them, and what Iāll do with these people as well.
(I wonāt hold my breath to be fair, I expect not much good from them.)

In fairness to him, he says all the right things, respectful to FSG, the fans and the history of the club, but more importantly in one sense , regarding the regulatory process.
Its good to have someone enthusiastic about become a part owner and maintaining a level of respect to the majority owners and the fans.
I share so much of Hopeās scepticism, but compared to H&G, ..he seems decent and FSG have also acted better than expected in dealing with them, i cant say how this plays out, but i dont have the worry we all had when H&G were here.

He comes across well enough, but as as @Hope.in.your.heart mentions, will be judged on actions not words.
Heās obviously intelligent and very well educated (Cornell), but most of the photos Iāve seen of him made me think he looked like an Apprentice contestant who goes out in the early stages

As long as they remain minority shareholders, all should be good. But if they take control of the club, then every option is open, from continuing fsgās good work over the years until asset stripping. We strictly donāt know what these people are up to and why they put up their billions. Iāll remain prudent, and also suspicious, until theyāve proven me wrong.

What assets are there to strip? There is some potential for financial restructuring, like moving āthe brandā into a shell company or the like, but on the scale of wealth of this group the hard assets to be stripped are not worth a great deal - and are worth more in LFCās hands.
Asset stripping is usually about the real estate, and to a lesser extent the players. But LFC as an asset is now worth an astronomical multiplier versus the sum of the saleable assets. Buying LFC to strip assets is now like buying a Ferrari to strip it for the copper wiring.
I am far more concerned about an ownership group that starts down the road of a Chelsea or the like.

I agree that asset stripping is not the most likely of outcomes, especially with what they have had to dish out. My main point was that anything can happen. As you say, they might try their best new Ted Boehly personificationā¦ 
Anyway, Iām simply saying that Iāll not trust them as long as they donāt give me reason to. There will be a long time passing by before I enthuse myself because one of them says that heās āa fan firstā.
This guy might well be genuine, might end up having a great relationship with the fans in the future - Personally, I canāt help thinking that at some juncture, total control of LFC will be up for grabsā¦ not a bad strategy to have the fanbase onside when that time arrives if you want to outbid Bezos eh.
Will watch his involvement with interest in the coming months, as per normal with my suspicious mind, because at the end of the day, I am a fan of LFC.
If he does have a hidden agenda, and whatever that might be, then Iām sure the Liverpool fans will be right on itā¦

Amit may well run the club in the future even as a minority owner. He was also only a minority owner in QPR but over 18 years was director, vice chairman and then chairman for 5 years even as a minority owner so it seems that owners trust his executive capabilities. You would not be expecting Bezos to be running the club and all in all, Amit has good English football boardroom experience so he might take over as one of the main man in time to come. The good thing is QPR fans pretty only had good things to say about him.

That last sentence is important in judging him as a start, football fans arenāt easily pleased with their owners.
The issue is that Liverpool fans have different expectations of their owners than QPR fans.
I do hope Bhatia turns out well for us and continues to listen to the fanbase.
