Since complaining is your essential contribution to this forum (based on your posting history), you may find yourself more at home in the Grumpy Old Reds - #10 by Redbj thread.
Your ignorance and anger is⦠entertaining.
Tell me, who financed the new main stand, and then the new Anfield Road stand, and the new training center at Kirkby? Who brought in Klopp at the time, and backed him to the hilt in order to steer us to success?
Also, net spend doesnāt mean that much. We broke the world transfer record for a defender when we brought in VVD, we did the same when bringing in Alli, we broke the PL record only last season for Isak, and had already broken it a few weeks earlier with Wirtz. Donāt forget the massive wages coming with each new signing.
But if you want to go with net transfer spending, letās take the last four windows, from summer 2022 until summer 2025: itās more than 85m net spend for each window. And in this one, weāve already brought in Jacquet for 60m and now Barcola for 109m +.
So, your claim is ridiculous. fsg have been prudent spenders. They arenāt Abu Dhabi, nor Ted Boehly, but they have definitely spent more on the successive player squads than what you think, and above all, they have moved us from an abysmal state after g+h were ousted, towards being one of the most modern top clubs in Europe again.

Donāt you dare send him to the gumpy old mens thread that thread is for decent able minded folk.

Just a reminder that the forum has a very useful feature, I have just tested it and confirm it seems to be working fine ![]()

I like this one better

Iām just stating facts and in my eyes FSG havenāt been good owners at all, because if Klopp hadnāt been so good we would be still in Midtable mediocrityā¦And the fact they only really spent money to get a bigger sale price ( Stadium ) shows FSG for what they really are SCUMBAGSā¦
You are stating your opinion, and of course you are entitled to that.
Most reds on here would say FSG have not been perfect, and mistakes have been made, but they have been good owners.
My own personal view is they came in and did what they said they would do. They installed professionals at all levels of the club, and built everything up that way. We won everything under their ownership, and obviously their good judgment in hiring Klopp was a big part of that.
My main criticism is the last couple of years they have been indecisive, looking like they were going to buy another club to be a feeder for us, but then not finishing that and instead accepting a significant minority consortium who will probably take over at some point.
Against that backdrop we posted record income and invested a huge amount on the playing side
I was also just stating facts.
That being said, treating people of scumbags is probably not āstating factsā.
If you want to rant against scumbags owners, you can talk about Man United.
FSG have come and said exactly what they said they would do: develop the club sustainably, turn the club back to winning and try to be good stewards.
You should probably also think about who brought Klopp onboard and gave him a platform to do his magic. Now imagine what would have happened if it was Chelsea owners who hired him as a coach.
What was once a ballanced forum is increasingly becoming as unhinged as Bluemoon.

Since you havenāt answered to the list of facts I listed above, you can maybe tell us one thing: where do you place Gillet and Hickās ownership in comparison to fsgās? And Mooresā before that?
It seems on social media, FSG is pretty glad to see the back of Richard Hughesā¦
New club sponsors to be Turkish Airlines
I wanted coca cola
I have never really understood why airlines sponsor things. Generally they are national carriers with a limited number of routes and unless itās things like London - nyc limited competition.
But welcome.
I think itās brand exposure. I hadnāt really heard of them, but they actually hold a record for destinations. Liverpool John Lennon isnāt one of them!
Doubt the £60m are a record in the PL.
In what way? Unofficial deals other clubs have?
