The complaints don’t make sense. The marketing cash is for international exposure not internal. It’s not just some cash they have lying around, it’s advertising budget. It would also be potentially problematic for a Turkish national company to sponsor say Beşiktaş and not Trabzonspor or Galatasaray.
I guess that the JAL (Japan Airlines) sponsorship/partnership is over next year?
The Turks are truly a very proud people; trying to use logic with them gets you nowhere and doesn’t reach them at all. They are now focusing their anger on Liverpool FC and the airline. Who knows what the reaction would be if the situation were reversed.
Yes, I think that expires in May of next year.
A better mock up of the one I saw online, which was just the writing, not the logo.
Told you all it wouldn’t be Amazon..Did you listen? No.
100% correct we didn’t listen…
We read it👀
I don’t mind this, as he’s a football man, as far as owners go. He comes across well: humble, with the right attitude, learning, but clearly taking it all in. That way he has a close up and informed view for if and when his group become the new owners. It seems orderly to me.
He will be the buffer between big personalities and big money potentially making iffy decisions because they don’t know the game, or the culture.
