Or rather their regression was just as bad as ours
I would take that too!
The media attention that plastic dump would get.
Pep coming out with more of his sarcastic tripe trying to put up a front when everybody can see through his facade.
Would be something to behold.
In reality the issue is when you hit 90+ points for the last 3/4 seasons or whatever it is, itās very difficult to build on thatā¦hard enough to sustain that for a club like LFC let alone to go 1 better.
52 replies I thought there was actual news of a sale.
If you think thatās a telling off, I think youāll hate to see what I do to @Semmyā¦
Wierd as in strange, unusual not weird as in heās got 2 heads or a crazy madman.
little bit of both, actually.

and that IS the biggest issueā¦ theyāve created an expectation of performance that couldnāt be sustained, long-term.
City is also struggling, with a much higher outlay of funds over the past decade than us. they ran out of gas, are having to cycle through players now. We just got caught with too many duds which didnāt allow rotation over a 60-game season. 60-game season, who does that? 4 cup finals!
Isnāt this eventually what happens with all successful/major companies?
It does to some degree and I donāt think I would have thought much of the departures if Ward wasnāt leaving less than a year after taking over for Edwards.
That is not simply evidence of someone getting a promotion elsewhere due to their success here, or retiring after a long career, or taking a break to recharge. That is evidence that something wrong is happening at some level that must be addressed.
I saw a name mentioned to replace Wardā¦Sven Mislintat

Yes, which is probably why he was linked - but he did a poor job at Arsenal.
Mitchell is the one for sporting director. Needs new owners though.

A poor job was done while he was at Arsenal, but there was so much churn and dysfunction there that Iād be willing to accept it wasnt down to him per se given he is otherwise well respected.
Or what @anon27364116 said
Yep, Iād steer clear of him. Seems like his reputation as head of scouting at Dortmund got to his head, inflated ego, apparently that played a role in his firing at Stuttgart as sporting director as well.
found this interestingā¦ but not surprised if true

I wish Bill Hader had stuck around SNL longer. That run of Stefan on Weekend Update was just magic.
Colin Jost and Michael Che have picked up the slack. But nobody has been able to top Dennis Miller.
