They will probably be arresting some of their members. Complain and then abuse the solution, human nature 101. Thankfully it will only be a small %.
A rise in ticket prices is inevitable, especially if theyâve remained at the same prices for eight years. We expect the club to sign top players and they all demand massive salaries. So we shouldnât complain about the occasional price hike.
Tickets for the PSG game are still available at this moment⌠Not sure why I have added this pearl of information hereâŚ
Something is not right with the whole club at the moment. There seems to be an undertow current that is tumbling below the surface⌠The summer is going to be interesting that is for sure.
It makes me wonder, if thatâs the reason two senior professionals have announced theyâre leaving at the end of the season. Salah had another 12 months left of a very lucrative contract. Thereâs also rumours that Virgil might leave in the summer, he also has another 12 months remaining.
I donât mind him talking about the increased costs; after all, arenât the costs at least partly attributable to the rise in the number of fans? But youâd get a clearer picture if he mentioned the increase in revenue resulting from the expanded capacity and commercial spaces.
John, what are you guys smoking over there?
I get Robbo leaving. He wants to play more and feels too good to be a back up. I respect that. I also get Mo Salah leaving too, as his powers have waned and he wonât be main man status next season if he stays, and will likely be a rotational option. He has walked away from a lot of money left on his Liverpool contract, but he will probably walk into even more money on his new contract elsewhere. Crucially for Mo, his playing time wonât be threatened. Heâs a proud old lion and I respect that.
Virgil Van Dijk is the concern for me. I really hope he stays as I think he has more to give at the highest level. This season he hasnât had a break and there has been no rotation due to inadequate depth. The whole team has also got the jitters, and the midfield in front of him is offering little resistance. So poor Virg has looked off too.
My hope is that with Leoni and Jacquet, plus maybe another like Senesi, we will see Virg adding his quality and experience next season, while also getting some rest, in a resurgent Liverpool side under a new manager.
Yea its probably a very small percentage thankfully but itâs getting worse. I even encounter a tout the last time I came to Anfield last season offering a ticket at a lump price to every single home game for the upcoming season. I donât know how he can do that but does that mean people selling off their season tix to touts? And that particular tout is not some internet scam. He basically camps himself at a cafe nearby Liverpool One and I see groups of people collecting tickets from him.
I am thankful I managed to come to Anfield thrice in my life, but considering how expensive hospitality are for foreigners and the other only option are touts because of ridiculous reselling, it might be a long time before I make my next trip there. Just too expensive ![]()
Which cafe was that? (Asking for a friend.)

Canât remember the name though I remember itâs a roughly 5 minute walk for James Street station a bistro cafe with outdoor seats.
Apparently tickets on sale on match day, was a lot of gaps.
exactly, the margine these touts are able to charge is getting squeezed, tally that with the fuel crisis, and their basically only making a few quid on each touted ticket.
games gone.
On Talksport ( i know it is crap sports radio), it was breaking news on Jim White Show, that Richard Hughes is going nowhere, he is staying put at LFC ![]()
That will put any high profile potential LFC manager off, if he doesnât have any say in potential new playersignings coming to the club.
Gutted to hear this news.
There is no way that FSG will throw out their model to appease a managerial target. Whether or not they still have confidence in Hughes is a different question, but it is a stretch to say that Slot had no say in signings last summer.
I have never understood why managers want or expect to be autocrats and have fully responsibility for signings. These are ÂŁ100m decisions and no business anywhere is putting ÂŁ100m down on one blokes hunch.
Donât think LFC works any different to any other club. The manager/head coach will be an important part of the decision making, but there will be many more voices involved.
I was offered some for free but couldnât make it. Spent the Klopp years offering kidneys in exchange for tickets
Progress under Slot!
So, why did FSG change title of Manager to Head Coach?
Why was there a need to change the Manager to Head Coach title?
I donât know, i have it in my head Slot may have some input, but not enough influence.
