The Owners - FSG

Then you just don’t get it. Neither do FSG and it’s why they’ve found themselves apologising again this morning having lost yet more goodwill and respect from the fanbase.

Interesting, I hadn’t noticed that before you pointed it out. Very odd indeed…

But maybe it’s just the corner of his kitchen, who knows.

What is hard to understand is how a man as careful and calculating as Henry appears to be, gets himself associated with such an haphazard and slapstick endeavour that was doomed from the beginning.

Not only that, but he did so as if he was acting in a vacuum, as if his actions affected no one else but himself. How is it possible after 10 years in charge to be so out of tune with the fanbase and take up such an ill-conceived undertaking without consulting with anyone that had valuable insight to offer?

He does know how to apologize though.

Who builds a kitchen in a morgue? Bloke does look like a corpse to be fair

No way it was only JWH. He’s just decided it’s best if he takes all the blame as he wouldn’t avoid at least some of it as his name was in the plans.

Fair play. That’s an excellent statement.

What I’d really wish for right now is the current fan outrage to morph into pressure on Fifa UEFA and the FA to reform FFP into something with real teeth and to set up an independant ombudsman to keep the game in check whether its violations in commercials or racism. Something like Supervisory Boards in Germany. You can’t have a regulator with incentives to regulate poorly. Which is the case currently.

It’s all a bit sad, really.

Imagine if, as I sometimes do, you completely zoned out of the news from Sunday morning and just resurfaced now…

It came and went in less than three days, plus Jose got arsed.

lol at being that poor cunt trying to process it all.

The replies to his tweet are astonishing. General sentiment of ‘we’ll forgive you if you buy us loads of players’.

It beggars belief. Thick, thick bastards.

Listening to Redmen TV’s vid from last night. Hyperbolic nonsense designed purely to incite fans and drive up their channel? FSG have not set the club and their ownership on fire,

Absolutely. Getting it initially wrong is understandable but not now after 10 years. He really need some better people/ advisors around him. Getting aligned with Florentino fcking Perez, geez what was he thinking. So much data analysis goes behind every decision they make, every player they buy and on the contrary this was so rash and so uncalculated - it’s so idiotic and so unlike the business acumen these people are suppose to carry.

Spend your money on my club and players and do nothing except what I consider acceptable. Who knew that if a business bought another and invested ££££ they’d want to change a few things.

Probably in gest? Twitter folks are ridiculous though and if they genuinely believe we are spending a ton after this, huge surprise awaits us.

Get what? The events of the last few days are not comparable with the examples I picked out of your earlier post. As far as i can tell there is no one saying FSG didn’t get things wrong here.

The irony and stupidity that defines how and why this colossal cluster fuck happened.

Football is utterly fucked, it really is… The likes of Sky, Neville, the FA, the Premiership, FIFA, UEFA all being crowed as some sorts of bastions of integrity and the white knights… It’s sickening… They are the fucking problem, and brought us to this point.

That for a moment I thought you are referring to my username. :joy:

Sky need to have a long hard look at their influence on the game. Look at the way they package up the transfer window and whip up hysteria over signings.
