What good are the fucking British if they don’t even use their own GMT so the rest of us can measure our time zones up to that ! If they can’t even comply with their own fucking time zone, then the rest of us might as well sink their silly island, seeing how little help they are at keeping tabs on our calendars.

We were not in GMT now though so if you give time zone conversions relative to that, people need to do an additional adjustment to get the right conversion.

But yeah, I have probably missed it before in the BBC or other media outlets that they refer to BST. I’m so used to the UK being GMT and it was imprinted upon me as a kid really.
I waited until further announcement by the police came out, because this actually isn’t one the usual ‘catch and release’ crowd. He has no prior charges, only that his household was difficult (his brother was killed in a random attack in 2023). It has been disheartening though, that quite a number of people have been using this incident to push their political agenda (I’m not saying that’s you, Nobluff, sorry).
Going to watch the election results on CBC after work with the beer I got for Liverpool yesterday. Most likely a long evening.

Yeah just going by police statement, re multiple run ins and mental health (they didn’t say catch and release, I was just generalizing on that point as it is a issue). I am glad that the cons didn’t use this to point out crime, or the libs to point out mental health.

Early East Coast results cautiously optimistic for the Conservatives. The Liberals may be losing that shot at a majority if this plays out in Quebec.

CBC called it for the liberals, but not necesarilly with majority. Interesting to see what comes.
I’m probably jumping the gun again here, but at this rate BC isn’t needed.
My friend just quipped that it is ironic that Quebec is deciding this one.
Looking forward to Carleton’s result too. That ballot sheet must be quite tricky to handle.
