Heartbreaking that he is always remembered for not being picked to play in the 66 final though…it took him many years to come to terms with…if he ever did. It must have made it worse when Geoff Hurst got his hat trick and all the glory

I’d recommend Boycie in Belgrade for any Only Fools obsessives; John Challis exploring the city and trying to understand why Serbia, more than anywhere outside the UK, has an inexplicable love for Only Fools.

Just watching some old classic clips of Sean Lock (for about the thousandth since he passed away).
So many classics. Carrot in the box, challenging wank, rectum of the year, and just now - reanimating the top Nazis.
I can’t help thinking that when asked what the program would be called and he answered “Nazi Island” that he missed a trick in not saying, “Isle Hitler”…
Same thing happens with the new bond trailer. When Remi Malek says he just wants the world to be…“tidier”. I really wished the script had him saying, “neater”. It just works better phonetically. Now I can’t stop thinking it whenever I see that bit from the trailer.
Yep, watching loads of his stuff. Rectum of the year always makes me laugh. Weirdly never really enjoyed his stand-up but he was brilliant on panel shows.
