The R.I.P. thread

Only 66 died after a short illness is a bit scary.

Really? I never knew that!

Really sad to hear this news. She was great radio presenter and I remember her as the first female presenter of Top of The Pops music show.
The tributes from rock royalty have been very touching. She will be sorely missed. She championed many bands, they said that they owed Janice because she got their music got on the airwaves.

English cricket finally passed away today after a long, slow, painful malady. It was put out of its misery by a bunch of gleeful Australians.
The death was not unexpected, but it is still a sad moment for all of its faithful followers.
RIP

Am sure I’m not the only one from outside the US and Canada who’s introduction to NFL was through his games in the 80’s and early 90’s

He was amazing with the Raiders in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s. Went 10 consecutive seasons with a winning record…which was amazing.

He was, in later years, mostly known as a broadcaster on TV…however he was an incredible coach and NFL Hall of Famer.

All these years later he still holds the best winning percentage among all coaches who have won at least 100 games. Legend, that guy.

Karma. No more can she actively fight to restrict vaccination.

A needless death. If she had been vaccinated, she’d most likely still be alive.

Sidney Poitier was true legend of Hollywood and such debonair and elegant personality. I loved his films, especially ‘To Sir With Love’ and 'Guess who is coming to dinner".
RIP Sir.
