I loved him in Heat of the Night and Shoot to Kill. Never realised he was in his 90’s though - that’s a fair knock - a damn good life and he has had a good influence on a lot of people with the roles he always played masterfully.
It’s POTTER
Really…! You better fire off an e-mail to the guy doing his headstone then.!
Whoosh, right over your head. Not an Only Fools and Horses fan then?
Ah Ok… My Bad then
Sneakers is a little gem of a movie too.
I watched that film so many times. I loved that film so much.
Sinead O Connor lost her young son Shane this week.
Tragedy for a woman who has endured a lot.
May the boy rest in peace, and his mother find some.
Poor Sinead, to lose a child who had his whole life ahead of him is so tragic and a lifetime of suffering for the parents.
Bob Saget is dead at 65. I do not watch any of his other works but I was a big fan of America’s Funniest Home Videos back then and he was an iconic voice of that show. RIP.
RIP.
Grew up with ‘Full House’ and he also did the voice overs for How I met your mother.
The circumstances reflect horribly on the mental health system in Ireland. Everyone here is aware how under funded and neglected this area of health is but this takes it to a whole new level of shite.
Not to mention Entourage.
I agree, and it was disturbing to read dome of the comments aimed at Sinead during the week. Finger pointing at her by people who know nothing of their situation.
There is a long road ahead with mental health problens in Ireland, post pandemic healing included.
But there is no will by government to fund or to engage in processes. This lads death is a microcism of a greater malaise. He could be still with us, had supports been in place.
Absolutely. Sinead has had her own very public battles with mental health issues and while I haven’t read of what you’re saying I think I can safely assume some are putting the blame of this tragedy on her shoulders.
This government are no different to past ones, no will to improve public mental health treatments. The wider question is why? Is it because there’s not enough desire among the people to really push it otherwise things would have improved? Look at the back tracking on water charges as an example of people fighting for change.
With cognisance of deviating from topic.
Stigma exists on a grand scale, and there are no advocates in politics strong enough.
Bressie and a few more celebs do their best, but we need proper advocacy in the Dail.
And the blame from certain sectors is being weighed on a grieving mother who has suffered with her own demons.
RIP romantic Ireland.
She’s been dead and gone a long time
BBC News - Ronnie Spector: Be My Baby singer of The Ronettes dies at 78
The Ronnettes were one of my all time favourite 60s girl groups.
RIP Ronnie, you were so unique in your voice and a fashion trailblazer and your songs would always be timeless on film soundtracks.
one of the dirtiest comics I’ve ever heard, too. Sagat had a dark side.
