93 is a hell of an innings. I think heā€™d just been filming more Doctor Who as well.

Even after her retirement, she had such grace and beauty. She came on UK breakfast show aome years ago. I think every male in my house had a crush on her.

I just saw the news. I am absolutely shocked and sad :broken_heart:. I loved Olivia Newton-John as Sandy and my mum loved her as country singer.

RIP Olivia, we will always be hopelessly devoted to you!.

Grease will always be my favourite musical. I must have watched it 50 times. Whenever it was tv, i would always sit and watch it. I used to play the songs on repeat until i wore the tape down.

Beautiful message from John Travolta.

Edit: I am still in shock!

Her husband was called John, so not sure that Travoltaā€™s message, although heartfelt, was that well planned.

And iā€™m loosing controlā€¦

Love a bit of grease, sing the songs to my wife on a sunday morning to try and mask my hangoverā€¦

Sad to hear Sandy is gone,

But she will always be remembered with fondnessā€¦

I remember TC the pilot in the Magnum tv series. I cannot believe it, another one gone.
RIP TC.

RIP. I donā€™t remember him at all, although Magnum PI was one of my favourite TV shows.

:sob: RIP. My favourite female singer from that era.

My first love and, by all accounts, a good decent human being. A few years ago she auctioned a lot of her stuff to raise money for cancer charities. The star lot was the leather jacket from Grease, which sold for a huge amount of money. Whoever bought it immediately gifted it back to her. That must have made her so happy. Iā€™m really sad that sheā€™s gone :frowning:
