Another versatile acting great gone and forgotten. I know she was famous for being the Detective novelist. I will always remember her as the funny witch Miss Price in the Disney Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
RIP Dame Angela Lansbury

RIP Angela Lansbury, but someone really ought to have looked into why all those murders kept happening whenever she was around.

I loved that football match scene and that bed which could transport you anywhere around the world.
One of the best Disney films ever.

RIP Robbie, will always remembered Dr Fitzgerald for me in Cracker and Hagrid.

Sad. I checked into a hotel in Covent Garden right at the same time as him years ago and we shared the same (tiny) lift up to our rooms. Being a celeb must be shit in a lot of ways with people constantly being overly familiar with them and them having the tendency to then just try to shut everyone out. Given that I was really surprised when later on that night he made a point of acknowledging me when we crossed paths again elsewhere in town. It was a totally normal human moment, but one you dont expect from a celeb and gave, maybe, a little bit of insight into him having remained a decent bloke despite the celebrity.

In bits here, sod off 2022. His part in Blackadderā€™s Christmas Carol was utterly epic.

Properly sad now :pensive:
