“Live your life to the fullest. Every day is a gift.”
His role in The Fog is what I will always remember him most for, not an easy choice though given his frequent stand out roles.
Captain Sir Tom Moore has passed away.
A national treasure, without any shadow of doubt.
R.I.P.
Knocked up a century though. Good man.
A Good man
A Good life
Well done Sir now rest easy.
If the family agree, state funeral. absolute legend.
was he the guy who got in trouble over drugs or something?
Christopher Plummer passed away 91.
Famous for the Sound of Music but I remember him from the Dragnet movie.
Me too.
RIP Mr Plummer
He was in ‘Knives Out’ quite recently. That’s a superb film
Great actor, sad loss. RIP.
Knives Out is incredible. RIP Christopher.
I have it but not yet watched it,will move it to the top of the list
Another Northern Star disappeared.
I’m too young to remember the classic fights of the 70’s but his was a name that was still big in the 80’s.
It is a great film. I was tickled to find out that the actress who played his Mother is actually three years younger than him.
Former pupil at the same school I went to, who I barely knew mind you, but it’s still worrying and sad to hear of his passing. At the age of 18 which was the last time I saw him, he was already built like a brick shithouse and was way out of the league of anyone around him on the school rugby pitches. Wished I’d had more spoken contact with all those kids who went on to great things at school.
There are a couple of posters talking about Richard Hill in the GOAT thread at the moment.
RIP Dave Egerton.
Thanks for the reminder. I was in the sixth form when the flanker Richard Hill started in the first form. And the reverse was true for me and the scrum-half Richard Hill who became England captain briefly.
RIP to Jurgen Klopp’s mum who died recently explaining his drawn and sad demeanour attributed to losses on the pitch. It is even sadder that he cannot attend her funeral.
Our thoughts are with him and his family.
