On February 9, Inter beat AC Milan 4-2 and Lukaku tweeted:
“There is a new king in town”
This week, AC Milan beat Inter 2-1 thanks to a brace from Zlatan who responded to Lukaku by tweeting:
“Milan never had a king, they have a God”
What a genius
Messi at 9 @cynicaloldgit?!
Fat Ronaldo 10th?
Feel so dirty having C.Ronaldo above Sir King Kenny but sadly they didn’t include him which is shameful of the beeb. But anyhow, here’s my list

15.000 Teddy Bears in Heerenveens stadium to draw attention to children who have cancer.
My old high school Geography teacher Kevin Brennan was the MP calling him out on it,Clarke gave a reasonable reply to using the term and apologised, which is fair enough,i wonder what excuse Brennan could give for being another dodgy expense claiming twat and not squeeky clean himself,he was a right orrible bastard in school.
White people go green when sick, red when embarrassed and change skin tone when getting a tan.,surely whites are the coloured people.
Comments such as deeply abhorrent etc???
Funny how language has changed over the years.
As a kid I was brought up in Toxteth in Liverpool 70’s. Mostly black area. Coloured was how my mate preferred to be referred to. His mum was white and his dad was black.
And that was true of all the other mixed race kids.
Didn’t Alan Hansen get called out for using the term “coloured” just before he retired as a pundit?
I was called out for using the term handicapped recently . Guess it is an age thing… I did apologise but I genuinely didn’t realise it is now regarded as an offensive term apparently.
Meaning no disrespect, but I think the telling point from your anecdote is that 1970 is now half a century in the past.
It should trouble everyone when decision-makers of influential organizations demonstrate how deeply out of touch they are with the present day.
Someone will always find offence in anything whilst ignoring context,we’ve gone soft.
has now resigned.
I dunno. People of colour is ok, but coloured not? It can feel like a minefield sometimes.
I can see the exam question now:
“Jamal is a person of colour but is not a coloured person. Discuss.”
Both sound rubbish tbh. I take my cue from James Brown in these matters.
Good. His excuse was lame and implausible. Is “people of colo(u)r” really acceptable in the US, anyway?
Tbh, this goes towards the reasons why the FA is long overdue reform. Too many late middle-aged out of touch white men in charge of running the game.
