To be fair with most of these plans they were suggestions they weren’t decisions sensibly considered.
It’s the idea of putting an absolutely stupid idea so you get acceptance on a normal one.
Sadly the stupid ideas have been taken up in the last decade.

This one from Göttingen (starting Thursday afternoon until Sunday) is the biggest in Europe. Fulham participating for the 9th time this year. Pretty sure Harvey and Fabio played there too.
And at the weekend we have the prestigious Mercedes Benz Junior Cup from Sindelfingen (near Stuttgart). Many kids who played there over the years went on to have big professional careers.
Our U18s won it in 2019 but we haven’t been participating since.
