50000 people went to Rhein Energie Stadium in Cologne to watch the UEFA Youth League match today.
Why?
I assume because it’s fun to do.
There are plenty of other youth games that don’t get 10% of that crowd, so what was so special about that particular match?
Maybe they’d heard that the TAN Poster Of The Year was going to be making a special guest appearance?

Someone (tuvalu11) posted on reddit. Interesting.
Dave Kitson: The Secret Footballer, 106 Points & Why I Hated The Premier League
Highlighted by the op:
~8min “The only place I felt any emotion was Anfield…‘This Is Anfield’ sign is like a bullet in the head if you’re an opposition player”
~35min “[The Guardian] gave me one rule - don’t upset the Liverpool fans”
Hmmm, I never knew Kitson was The Secret Footballer.
So that poses the question, which was the greater reveal, The Secret Footballer or Parched?
Sadly not always been the case this season…![]()
I saw it spoken about as fact that he was TSF all the way back when twitter was still a thing but didn’t realize it was officially confirmed. I think he dropped too many hints over time that people worked it out.
Great story by big Ange,
Luis Figo reveals he was in talks to sign for Liverpool:
“At that time I was talking with Benitez, he was in Liverpool. But, well in the end, nothing happened, that’s it.”

Cool story bro.
I actually do remember the tentative links at the time.
I don’t usually watch The Overlap but I thought their recent interview with Ange Postecoglu was really interesting - despite the horrific ads that Gary Neville does to the camera for Huel.
Would be nice if someone SponsorBlock those ads on YT. ![]()
I watch most Overlaps and looked forward to that Ange big interview, but was a bit disappointed with the quality of questions.
Had some good guests on, but sometimes too many ex Manure players
Watching Everton vs Man Utd last night was like watching the fucking Royal Rumble or last man standing in a wrestling ring. Ref looking at players being pulled, pushed, floored with one booking, on Tarkowski.
It was muck, and a sad commentary on where football is at. Everton had loads of second half corners with zero invention. Load players around the keeper and hit inswingers which he took comfortably every time. Nothing changes.
This is the game, set pieces, keep the ball, wrestling matches…its becoming more boring by the day.
Arsenal the top team in the PL are boring as fuck. City minus Haalands running at defenders is boring as fuck. Liverpool at the moment??
Players like Frimpong and Rio at Liverpool are the shining lights, unpredictable and that may well cost them as they might yield up too much possession. There are examples in the league if players trying things, but their teams are not chasing honours.
I truly despair after watching that shite last night.
