I was going to say this feels a bit of a puritanical pile on as while it isnt a great look getting caught doing some class As it shouldnt be viewed as evidence he cannot do his job. But then I realized he was at the Euros as a VAR official. That does make it a disqualifyingly shit level of judgement for someone whose entire professional role is based on making sound judgements.

I think the PGMOL have got suspicions that there is something not quite right upstairs with David Cooteā¦ They are mentioning their concern for his well-being.
For all the wrongs he has done, hope something like this doesnāt put him beyond the tipping point.

He should be on gardening leave, receiving treatmmentā¦if required.

All referees should be tested for drugs before or after matches, like the football players have to give a sample.

Totally agree. There is an issue with respect for/abuse of referees, but thatās a different conversation.
To excuse potential bias, racism and drug use while on a work trip as being down to pressure is shocking.

Nope. Took your post at face value and in good faith, clearly my second mistake today.
Third if you count voicing a slightly different opinion to the consensus shared by a group of people on the internet.
Probably get killed for this when I get back to Berlin, but I never thought that was handball. Cucurellaās arm was behind his body and moving towards it when the ball was fired at it from a very short distance. Thereās literally nowhere else it could be, short of amputation.
Of course, seen them given and all that, but I thought it was a fair decision.
