It was clear to see heās a wrong āun when the videos came out of his Liverpool and Klopp hatred, and the drug taking and so on.
Itās a matter of degree. While the above wasnāt especially pleasant to see, as refs are supposed to rise above it all and be fair and professional, the child porn stuff plumbs new depths.
It is far from my area of expertise, and while most will call for suitable punishment, as it is warranted, I genuinely hope within all that he finds the treatment he needs too. Heās clearly a disturbed individual.

Someone having a drug addiction problem deserves a modicum of sympathy.
But child pornography. Jail him.
His lifeās basically over. If he survives prison heāll probably end up like Glitter , exiled in Thailand or some such place.
I would not be surprised if this went beyond Coote. I thought this when I saw that photo of them on holiday surrounding by what were clearly young prostitutes.

He wonāt go to prison, if you look at the BBC article it seems like he downloaded and saved a video/image. āCreateā is a rather dubious phrase in this context, still a bit sick to save and/or share this stuff but there is no suggestion he actually produced which would likely end up in a prison sentence.

This was my first thought. Heās obviously a sex case, but so are the people he surrounds himself with. Hopefully we get a full investigation.
A bit mad if he doesnāt go to prison for this. The recidivism rate for these kinds of cases is extremely high, allowing them to keep roaming free is actively putting kids in danger.
Personally this is where I think South Korea and their deepfake laws probably work best.
All involvement is classed the same, doesnāt matter if you make, produce, distribute or simply hold it. If caught with it youār screwed

He deserves anything that will come his way. Hopefully locked up for a while, and a proper psychiatric treatment might be a welcome addition in order to try to stop him restarting with that kind of shit.
Im sure some inmates will try to rehabilitate himā¦if he gets jailtime

Unlikely, far worse cases than 1 image havenāt from what Iāve read.
Would also probably take into account the severity, I think there is scale to this garbage.
Iām not apologising or anything itās just how the law is applied in these cases. I did a conversion course. Probably some people more qualified here mind.
