The Referees or The Twelfth Man

If anyone can cite a refereeing mistake that City have been on the wrong side of in the last 15 years please shout. One that has been costly.

I really don’t want another lenghty pointless discussion on this, as my views are clear for many years.
I’m not rehashing old comments or arguments in a vain attrmpt to make you or anyone else agree with me. It would lead to rancour and I am not going there.

I have suggested you look back at the posts @jaffod has on the topic, his documentation is much better than I could possibly do. Or alternatively look at the evidence, agree or disagree as presented by Paul Tompkins. And yes, his views though biased, are compelling.

Other clubs don’t interest me. Arsenal supporters whining about refs is a nonsense, considering the latitude shown to them on set pieces for example. And how either sets of Manc fans could complain is beyond me.

I’m more interested in Liverpool, and in what happens when certain officials are on our matches.

Chris Kavanagh last Sunday was special, wasn’t he? Look at that, cold light of day, in a balanced manner and tell me I’m wrong?

With all due respects, I’ve done all this before, I don’t need to do it again.

He had a Porsche though! He loved to tell us sbout that! He reported me for saying I knew where he lived, as it was ā€œa veiled threatā€ā€¦it was Epsom though!

That’s okay. I can imagine many repetitive arguments/discussions. I think in a lot of issues , the issue remains because people who have evidence or belief of wrong doing, they dpn’t get together and discuss. Like a bigamist relies heavily on two wives never meeting. In football, corruption could well rely upon tribalism.

Have a good day, pal

What do you think of the appointment of Brooks as ref for the Brentford game? He was banned from reffing Liverpool for a year after his controversial decisions. I don’t know why they keep doing this after the problem free match in Europe why aren’t we allowed to enjoy a game without getting shafted?

Its a weird decision, especially aftwr the shafting by Kavanagh.

The powers that be…have their own itinerary…we’ve been penalised to 10 men…for fouls that weren’t…surely they must see the reffies are biased…

Amazing stuff, and example of how little value the KMI Panel has

Possible Dogso in the brighton game that the ref rejects. VAR recommends an overturn and after going to the screen the ref agrees and gives the red. The league over turn the suspension saying it shouldnt have been a red card, and now the KMI panel report agreement with the VAR.
