What does a “big game” have to do with it? So it’s different rules if it’s a big game? What happened to Spurs bs Liverpool then? The PL lead at stake, was that not a big game? Wasn’t the Jones red an overreaction then?
After watching the England v Italy game I’ve gotta say it is a thankless task being a ref as the behaviour of players in a lot of games is despicable. It seemed in the game everytime an opponent won the ball in a challenge the player would go down claiming a foul and roll around as if injured and if a player did commit a blatant foul they would plead innocent and say they got the ball.
Even Bellingham was at it, when pushed in the chest he went down holding his head, I thought he was above that kind of behaviour.
The amount of cheating and play acting is ugly for the game we love and for me I love that Jurgen doesn’t encourage it and mostly we aren’t like other teams and just get on with it.
shit, I just realized something. During the Diaz offside incident against Spurs, there’s a giant screen in the stadium which shows the VAR announcements? If VAR decides whether it’s onside or offside and VAR’s decision was “onside”, why did the screen say “offside”. Surely the referee doesn’t control the screen so how did that end up wrong as well?
England and co. are back officiating this week as per standard operating procedure.Screw up, have a shocker. Don’t worry, have a week or two away to allow the heat to die down and then come back as if nothing was ever wrong.
I’ve noticed for a long time that when people post clips of controversial decisions on social media that the clips are usually quickly blocked for “copyright infringement”.
Well it now appears that whole accounts are disappearing. I notice this account which I have found reasonable informative has disappeared:
This league has become so predictable and boring that I don’t put any time into it anymore. The only games I’m still following when I have time is LFC’s. But the corruption in the PL has reached an unbearable level now.
