I will buy you a bottle of Champagne or any liqueur of your liking, deal?
ETA, in our favour Fernandes looks knackered at the moment.

To both of you @Draexnael @Maria
Can see Spurs winning a most of their remaining games now and after WHU beating Burnley…
puh. Wouldn’t surprise me if we end up in this Conference thing.
At least we will be above Everton, right?
Just had a quick look at the run-in. We’ll get 4t by the narrowest margin thanks to Chelsea drawing on the last day.

Dunno Leicester with the fans back, I can see that being tough and Leeds is never easy, Villa beat Everton but they aren’t too great and yeah Wolves they will win though it’s Mason’s old club so you never know.
I just want it to be over now - the sooner the non-CL footy for 2021/22 is confirmed, the sooner we can get on with re-arranging out lives.
At least with EL, we know its Thursdays, unlike the CL which throws in 2 potential days. Small wins and that.
I think that conference league might not be the worst thing, evidently we just play our second string for that maybe drop the odd decent player in when we play at home/if needed.
Assume it allows our co-efficent to keep ticking over which might be important soon.
If we have Phillips and Kabak fit and Fabinho fit we still have every chance of Europa League but it’s all big ifs, we evidently look better with them in.
I have given up on CL (a few times now) but I would be fucking mad if City don’t beat Chelsea on Saturday - that’s before we play Saints.
City are playing at home. They can win the title there with a win. They have a day more to prepare.
Not even want to start talking about our chances but if Chelsea drops points (or even gets beaten) they are under huge pressure to win their remaining 3 games.
Thing is West Ham are the ones I can’t see dropping points.
Said nobody. Ever.
The problem with Conference League (it does sound like a proper mediocre thing, doesn’t it) and to some extent Europa League is that the venues are too dispersed and obscure and pose a nightmare in terms of logistics.
Kelleher, Neco, Nat, Tsimikas, Curtis, Elliott would be good enough till a certain stage. However, we have seen that such a bunch of irregulars most often looks like 11 players rather than a team.
Still once you get to a certain stage, your playing in the big European countries.
Saying that If you go out of the conference league I’m not too bothered, I actually think our reserve team hasn’t looked bad under Klopp.
Seems since he pushed for the same philosophy to run all the way down those performances have disappeared.
Rather European football than none, though I agree I’d rather it be Europa than the shit sounding Conference League, it will likely be us/Everton or Spurs now.
Despite the nightmare season we have endured. And top 4 all but gone… No way we should not at least be in Europa League… I feel its an embarrassment not to at least be in that tournament. For a Club the size and prestige as ours. And especially with the players we still have available…
And if in europa league we should win it next season. And show the world that this season was an aberration.
Finish Strong LFC.
City will want to win that to
I still believe we can get 4th but we have to win all our remaining games.
We drop points then forget it
My prayers for what’s left of this wretched season
City beats Chelsea in the League.
Leicester beats Chelsea in the Cup final.
Chelsea beats City in the CL final.
Post bookmarked expecting all three to go the other way round given the fantastic season this has been. Atleast I’ll put some part of the blame to you for jinxing it
Aren’t you Mr. Sunshine
4 possible scenarios, but 3 realistic for me (EL, Conference or no Europe at all).
I just hope we get some sort of European football.
I didn’t think we’d get top 4 for a while now, so recent slips even in “easy fixtures” are no surprise to me. I’ve almost written that CL target off. So next would be EL.
