To be honest I done blame them.
As horrible and inhumane it sounds, normal rules dont apply. Its like being witness to Mafia hit. If you intervene you become a witness putting your own life at risk.
Being in occupied region , most people are doing everything they can not to be noticed. People realize life is cheap, including their own.

Just been listening to a radio report on the BBC from a hospital in Ukraine. The reporter was talking to a young soldier who had just been brought in and had both legs amputated. That one hospital has treated 25000 wounded servicemen. The latest estimate is 70000 dead ukrainian troops and 125000 seriously wounded.
It worries me that this war seems to be slowly slipping from the news reports. I fear that Nato has accepted that Ukraine canât win and is now just happy to let both sides slog it out and see Russian military resources degraded and gain knowledge of Russian capabilities, tactics, armaments etc. At what cost though?

Too little, too late Iâm afraid.
Cargo ammo version, unable to strike hardened targets since the unitary bunker busting ammo is too âescalatoryâ (effective at destroying HQs and logistical base, Biden still not serious imo ).
Cargo version still useful, but can only strike troop concentrations and open ammo dumps in the rear with its HE splinter bomblets.

I could say the exact same thing about the MAGA movement by the Republican party starting 10yrs ago when Trump began his election campaign sir. Does it really look that much different in itâs core, the Russia agenda vs the MAGA agenda?
I donât see âthe Westâ reacting much differently at a grassroots level.
What was âthe Westâ supposed to do about domestic propoganda in Russia? Would it have stopped the invasion? No. Would it have returned Crimea to Ukraine? No.
I am just having a break and living my life. The Ukrainian offensive is mostly stalled (and imo probably culminated) anyway. Lots of people dying and getting wounded every day, but very little territory changing hands.
Just in case someone is wondering why I am not active. I am tired. I still read and follow the war daily, but since nothing, as mr. Trump would say, âhugeâ is happening; I prefer not to post all the time since I used to spend very many hours on this thread and I often got the impression that only 4-5 people was reading what I wrote anyway.
