Absolutely not
For the first time since 2023, Ukraine is counter attacking in the pokrovst area. I haven’t reported it, because I tend to wait (because there are so many exaggerated posts on attacks and advances, so I ignore untill I see correlation or video evidence).
Well, it is here now and it has now been reported for 3-4 days. The scale is smallish, but the Ukrainian army has entered and is advancing inside the city of Toretsk. But I am cautious since it is Ukrainian SOF clashing with the Russian 109th motorised rifle regiment.
But elements of the 109th are now surrounded. Which is a tad remarkable.
In adition, there are successes also at Pokrovst (not so strange, given the thousands of burned vehicles we see from that front from the russian perspective).

This is the Russian north west attack vector on Pokrovst !
It’s broken ! This should not be seen as Ukraian offensives, but the massive Russian Pokrovst offensive being (partly) broken apart due to extremely high casualties. This is fucking good news !
Cue Putler’s little puppy giving more concessions to Russia…
Yes @Magnus a counter offensive has been announced on French news channels (no détails of course) just to confirm.
No wonder it looked like a medium sized nuclear bomb back then

Death to the Moskal scum!

I don’t know if they will be able to retake the entire city, but it is fascinating for sure.
On the other hand, it doesn’t mean more than it means. That the RU offensive is stalled and the Ukrainians can make tactical moves forward
I guess that’s why it’s so important for Putler’s lapdog to defang Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the Kursk salient is getting critically narrow:
It’s only 20km wide now, which means Russia can attack it in any direction.
