Are these Russian made missiles or the ones they have obtained from Iran? Presumably, if the Israelis bomb the Iranian plants, the supply will dry up?

Which ones ? They strike with a large variety. Kalibr and Iskander are Russian only.
Mostly Ru strikes with own missiles, then sprinkle in foreign ones in salvos. Sometimes they launch only with North Korean ones.
Ru spent its supply of Iranian drones long ago, and are today producing Geran 2 , which is a licensed Iranian Shahed drone. Early in the war, the drones they used were produced in actual Iran. Not so today. Iran gave them everything, including tech.

So, that’s basically 50 days during which Putin is given free reign to wreak further havoc in Ukraine.

He’ll probably say something similar regarding the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Day 49 Putin will say what a great guy Trump is and the decision will be reversed.

The military (and as we know the political too) situation at the front is beyond horrific. I’ve followed events every day the last few months since I last updated this thread and now it is; I think, irreversibly grim unless Trump and Vance dies tomorrow and US completely and utterly decides to help Ukraine along with European powers. We are talking flood gates type of needed aid.
The situation at the easter front is extremely bad.

But I have no will to post a lot of maps and updates right now. I am just dejected and depressed. It’s pretty much over unless a Black Swan event happens.

Fuck the United States and fuck the EU too (but to a far lesser extent). China deserves dominance and we all deserve to live as Chinese thralls, given our pathetic attention spans at the deciding conflict of the 21st century. Just look at the European media. Gaza, Gaza, Gaza and our backyard is burning down. None of us in Europe can do anything about Gaza that matters apart from “feel good” declarations and minor sanctions on Israel (which I do of course support, but the attention we give it it Europe in comparison to Ukraine is completely bat shit insane, given that Ukraine, the far worse geopolitical crisis for us, is fucking culminating because of European and American inaction).

The war is culminating while we fucking fiddle and are asleep. A war that could absolutely have been won (that has literally been proven beyond a doubt), future crisis averted. But no. It’s not even in the media, it is so beyond tragi-comic. We are fucked and we are all guilty. Either because we are unable to persuade political leadership to prioritise this war above everything else, or because (and there are so many of those) we just don’t care and have the head in the sand.

The security situation in Europe and indeed the wider West, in 2030, is going to be so jolly fun…

The situation is a bit worse than this. I expect Gerasimov to unleash the considerable mechanised reserves that they have been hoarding for more than 6 months, given that they have penetrated through central defence lines. “The Final Boss line”. Thankfully, it is not yet a so called “Breakthrough” in military lingo, but everyone with half a brain is very worried that it could be one. RU have demolished every farm building and house several kilometers behind the UA lines, so there are no buildings standing for UA to use as forward opertional bases. Quite methodical as such. Of course, there are a very few, but few enough for Ru to keep tabs on them with drones. Glide bombs follows then. Therefore, it is very tough to reinforce for UA for a variety of reasons.

Rumours of forward elements of Ru infantry, using bikes and motorcycles, already inside Dobropilla and clashing with defenders. Very heavy Ru shelling (which is not a rumour).

This isn’t new, but has been going on for many months, situation totally deteriorated a week ago and became critical yesterday.

So this is the Worst Case Scenario I have been insinuating and why I have been beyond stressed out the last week. Obviously, the Army Group in the east would constitute more than one Decvisive Point and if encircled, a Centre of Gravity in itself, as retreat under heavy fire would be…ugly.

“We’re done with the funding of the Ukraine war business.” - JD Vance on Fox , Sunday.

Not that it wasn’t already known , but for him to have to repeat it just before what is supposed to be a crucial summit aimed at ending the war , reinforces what we all expect from that meeting. i.e. precisely nothing.

Trump spoke for an hour yesterday at a news conference to discuss the meeting and didn’t even mention security gurantees for Ukraine which would be needed to ensure that Russia doesn’t use any ceasefire as a smokescreen simply to rearm and regroup. The big push is coming , it’s simply a matter of timing for Putin , and the charade in Alaska on Friday won’t change that , or much else.

No surprise, on the contrary, it’s exactly what I expected. Everything Trump and co. have done since coming to power suggests that they are infiltrated remote-controlled pawns.
