Fans always clamber back for a manager but often fail to remember the last 12-18 months and why they left. I think those who have been most successful hadn’t burnt themselves out at the end.
Very few I can think were that great, Dalglish was a short term option and even he left first time on a high.
Spurs weren’t great when ponchettino left.

Wong is the more powerful fattie. 
I genuinely hope he values his career more than this. He’s a quality manager who is seemingly destined for great things - Tottenham should not be on his agenda.
That said, if a Liverpool rival ever decided to go after him, he should choose Tottenham instead.

My Spurs-supporting mate texted me last night to discuss their current plight. He mentioned that Spurs have lost 16 times in the league this season; he wasn’t too happy when I pointed out that we have lost that number in total over the last four seasons…
