The Spurs fans have got a new nickname for him:

I hope they don’t sack himbefore our game against them especially after what he said hypocritically today about Liverpool. I used to like him but he clearly lost the plot and his fans.

Oh like Spurs fans can talk.

I mean it was Spurs fans talking about Jamie O’hara being a world class midfielder. I mean the guy couldn’t even tie his shoe lases up without step-by-step instructions

What did he say, the ponce skip?

In fairness to the skip ponce he’s probably thinking he’s just making the obvious point that spurs aren’t a big club and thought it best to compare them to the biggest. Spursy seem more focused on not being called Tottenham and winning ‘best CEO bond villain’ than building a proper football side.

We’re a bigger club so there is more noise.

It will be nice for Postecoglu, good red that he is, to watch his favorite team win the Premier League when he brings his Tottenham side to Anfield on April 27.

I’ve got a bit of sympathy for Levy. The ground redevelopment was always going leave they short. Assume they could sell the women’s side?

Just a heads up about the tabloid headlines tomorrow - you may want to lie low for a bit…

And the Echo follow up the next day:

“Dominik said by pals to be devastated at developments”

They did spend more than us over the last 5 years didn’t they ?

Third in net spend.

Exactly they’ve still spent as well.

BREAKING: Tottenham will not proceed to sign Timo Werner on permanent deal. Loan move won’t continue as Werner will return to RB Leipzig… then explore another option to leave again. For sure, it’s over between Timo and Spurs.

No shit… I was surprised why they even brought him in the first place.

I wonder if Chelsea will sign him back after paying for the right to back out of signing Sancho on a perm deal?

Pretty weird situation when you look at all the clubs he’s played for and I’d bet none of them would have him back.

:joy:

Poor guy, hope he finds himself a new permanent club in Germany. That’s the best league for him, spaces galore and a side that plays with a few forwards, where he’s not a fixed striker or a fixed winger.

It’s that or MLS

Werner swap with Sancho won’t be a bad deal for Klopp and Leipzig.

They rip off of United and get rid of Werner. Make it happen.
